Shane Cormier is a seasoned financial executive with 25 years of leadership experience across Northeast Florida, recognized for guiding organizations through complex financial, operational, and strategic inflection points. His career spans CFO and executive leadership roles across construction, software and technology, insurance and underwriting, and aerospace, supporting organizations ranging from emerging $500K enterprises to multi-billion-dollar companies generating as much as $3.9 billion in revenue.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida, Shane combines the analytical discipline and ethical foundation of the accounting profession with advanced expertise as a member of the AICPA’s Forensic and Valuation Services section. His leadership and impact on the regional business community were recognized in 2016 when he was named a recipient of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s “Ultimate CFO” award.
Shane’s advisory work extends throughout Florida and across the United States, where he brings a distinctive combination of strategic foresight, financial acumen, and practical execution. In addition to his advisory work, Brian serves on the Board of the National Christian Foundation, where he contributes to strategic direction and national-level philanthropic initiatives. He is committed to helping organizations navigate pivotal financial decisions with clarity, integrity, and long-term strategic focus. His work has also allowed him to build a strong network of relationships across the business community, including deep connections in Nashville, a city he greatly values for its entrepreneurial spirit, vibrant culture, and close-knit business community.
Outside of his professional leadership, Brian is a devoted husband to Ashley and father to three boys—Will, Gavin, and Caleb—who embody his dedication to excellence both personally and professionally. Nathan is also an avid vinyl collector and weightlifter, balancing his analytical professional life with interests that allow him to explore music, physical discipline, and personal growth.
Brock Howze
Brock Howze is a data-driven analyst with advanced expertise in Power BI, financial analysis, and business intelligence, specializing in transforming complex datasets into dynamic dashboards and clear, actionable insights. He combines strong technical skills in Excel, data modeling, and accounting principles with a growing foundation in accounting, allowing him to approach financial and operational challenges from both an analytical and strategic perspective.
In addition to his work with financial and operational data, Brock conducts detailed business and industry research to support strategic decision-making, market analysis, and M&A initiatives. He is skilled at translating research and quantitative information into meaningful conclusions, helping organizations better understand their performance, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Brock also contributes to ProActive’s marketing and digital presence, developing marketing materials, refining brand presentation, and designing and managing website content. Outside of his professional work, Brock has a particular appreciation for the landscapes and culture of the American Southwest, with a strong affinity for Arizona’s expansive desert scenery and its enduring cowboy heritage. He enjoys the rugged character of the desert, the open landscapes, and the history and traditions associated with the American West.
